K9 America is committed to providing the highest level of puppy and dog training services in the Houston area.  Our goal is to strengthen the bond between humans and their pets, by creating clear communication.  Our programs focus on creating happy, confident well-rounded pets by creating clear expectations.  With over 30 years of experience, our trainers have successfully trained thousands of dogs in the Houston area.  Our values are centered around care, compassion, honesty and hard work.  We require that our trainers actively compete in one or more of various performance dog sports. This assures our clients are receiving the most up to date training methods and establishes confidence that our trainers stay sharp and at the top of their game.  We believe that when selecting a professional dog trainer, people should ask about their experience and credentials.  There are no set requirements in the US that create a standard for professional dog trainers, so passing nationally recognized performance-based dog training tests is the best way that a trainer can prove their abilities.

•  Achieved two Front and Finish Awards of Excellence (FFX) in AKC Obedience (Xara, Edward)
• Placed 2nd at the 2005 Alpo Frisbee Dog Championship (Xara)
